Rainmaker Mountain has its top shrouded in the clouds across the harbor. The Rainmaker Hotel is the set of brown roofed buildings along the water on this side of the Harbor. The picture is shot from Togotogo Ridge near the old tram station.

Keeping Cool In American Samoa
This is one of the few beaches on Tutuila (AS) that is like what most people visualize when they think of South Pacific Beaches. White sand, palm trees, no one around. This is Taputapu Beach (aka palangi beach) on the West end of the Island. Takes about 20 minutes to walk in. I'm laying in a fresh water spring I dug out. I'm not sure what to say about a place where the ocean is so warm, that it is not refreshing to sit in. It's a major hardship, but someone has to do it. Ryan took the picture.
